Wellness Exams
Routine exams/ consultations available
Spay & Neuter
Surgical spay & neuter procedures offered Monday - Friday, typically performed at 6-8 months of age.
Emergency Care
After hours emergency services.
Veterinarian and Veterinary Technician always on call during closed hours. If you have an emergency please call 807-223-2484 and listen for the after hours phone number(s) left on the voicemail.
Vaccinations
Puppy vaccinations with deworming at 6, 9 & 12 weeks of age as well as adult yearly immunizations with exam. Core vaccines include Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Coronavirus and Rabies. Optional vaccines are Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Lyme disease and Leptospirosis.
Your Vet will recommend an individualized vaccine protocol for your pet during your wellness exam that best suits your needs.
Kitten Vaccinations and deworming at 8,12,16 weeks of age.
Surgery
Other than spay or neuter we offer many surgical services such as soft tissue, orthopedic, ocular, exploratory, lump removal etc.
Surgeries are Monday - Friday, Most pets are required to not eat or drink after midnight the night before. Drop off generally at 9am and pick between 3-4pm. Post-op pain control offered to go home.
Lab Services
Our in house laboratory is outfitted with the latest analyzers to provide in clinic blood work analysis. Blood work is used to check organ function and underlying disease process.

Ear Cleaning/ Nail Trimming
Therapeutic ear cleansing and/or nail trimming services available with or without sedation.
Micro chipping
Microchip implanting is a safe and easy way for animal clinics and shelters to be able to identify your lost dog or cat. For more on micro chipping click below and then click information tab.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a great diagnostic tool for evaluating abdominal organs, heart, and chest abnormalities. It is also helpful in determining pregnancy and collecting fluid and organ samples via biopsy or fine needle aspirate.
Dental Care
Studies show that 80% of dogs and cats over 3 years of age have some degree of periodontal disease. Just like people pets need their teeth cleaned yearly also. Dental cleaning is a 3 step process that involves ultrasonic scaling of plaque and tartar, polishing of all surfaces and fluoride treatment. Tooth extraction services are also provided. Pre-anesthetic blood work and IV fluids offered. No food or water after midnight the night ebfore. Drop off at 10am and pickup at 4pm. Post-op pain control offered to go home.
Radiology
We offer the highest standard in X-Ray technology when it comes to our Digital DR capture station. X-Rays are captured instantaneously with no process time and viewed electronically within seconds. No films or cassettes! This means minimal restraint time, or time under sedation for your pet!
In House Cytology
With our HD microscope technology we are able to perform in depth analysis of samples as well as take quality pictures for interpretation.
